“Greener” paper cup with no plastic cover!

I found this article on Fastcodesign.com about a new disposable paper cup without a plastic lid, which makes it a bit “greener”.

This cup is designed by Peter Herman, who partnered with Daren Bascome, of graphic-design firm Proverb, to form Compleat.

Wow, $1 for a disposable cup!… I guess they might be pushing people into getting their own mugs and saving on paper more than making money out of the cups, which is a good thing too 🙂 don’t you think?
Where are you from Kate? Maybe you could give your college the idea, at least they would reduce using plastic lids…

PS. You have some nice knitted work on you blog, keep it up.
